Titan utilises a safe infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin’s surface. During the procedure, the skin’s top surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece.

Titan utilises a safe, infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin’s surface. This heating is known to cause immediate collagen contraction, which results in tighter skin. During the procedure, the skin’s surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. After the procedure, new collagen growth results in further tightening, and improvement of lax skin, folds and lines.
Immediately following treatment with Titan, you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the area that has been treated. Both should dissipate within a few hours. The full benefits and risks of treatment will be discussed in-depth with your Aesthetic Health practitioner prior to treatment (during your initial consultation).
Many patients see great results from just one treatment with Titan, but others need more than one treatment to achieve optimal results (again – this can be advised during your consultation).
Some patients also see results immediately from the first treatment. However, for the majority of patients here at Aesthetic Health, the results are gradually noticeable over a 3-6 month period as new collagen is formed and the skin tightens.
