Tixel® is a highly innovative concept in skin rejuvenation which can offer results equivalent to aggressive laser or deep peels, but with a much faster recovery time.
Tixel® is based on Thermo-Mechanical Ablation (TMA) technology, which is less painful than the lasers or peels which may previously have been used for more intensive treatments, but still with the most amazing results.
We offer a treatment called MesoTix, which is a non-ablative treatment which can ultimately give similar skin tightening results as the ablative treatment, but requires more treatments with very little recovery time. Or we offer a treatment called MegaTix. This is an ablative treatment which gives fabulous results on skin tightening and scar treatment. Results can be similar to those of fractional CO2 laser resurfacing and requires 2 days plus recovery time.

During treatment with Tixel, a small heated ceramic grid of 81 intricate pyramids located on the head of a handheld device is placed onto the skin in a controlled method. This achieves various results such as skin tightening and resurfacing, without the need for anaesthesia. Upon brief contact with the skin, thermal energy is transferred to the upper skin layers, creating an effect which is similar to fractional CO2 lasers.
Following treatment with Tixel, downtime is kept to a minimum, and lasts for just 1-3 days. You may notice small scabs just after treatment, but this is nothing to be concerned about and is just part of the healing process.
Some results will be seen immediately, but improvement continues for up to 3-6 months post-treatment. Patients are usually advised to undergo 3-5 sessions for optimal results.
