The upper arms, tummy, back, legs and knees can benefit from the skin tightening and sculpting effects. Cellulite also appears reduced as the skin and subcutaneous tissues are tightened and sculpted.
Radiofrequency energy is painlessly delivered to the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissues. A course of treatment is required to attain a progressive result as skin tightens and underlying fat pockets are sculpted.
Glycerine is applied to the skin to help conduct the energy through the surface of the skin to reach the dermis and subcutaneous layers. The treatment is very comfortable and relaxing, feeling a little like a hot stone massage with warm, flowing movements. A laser thermometer is used to monitor skin temperature throughout treatment with the aim to heat underlying tissues whilst keeping the skin comfortable.
There is no recovery time and you may immediately resume normal activities. Skin may appear slightly red for up to 30 minutes.
Treated areas will look immediately tightened, although this effect is a temporary teaser. Treatments are delivered every week, but it actually takes approximately 3-4 weeks after each session for new collagen formation to tighten the tissues for a longer-term result, during which time fat is also reabsorbed.
