At Aesthetic Health, we do not believe in quick fixes or one-off treatments. Our approach to skin rejuvenation is rooted firmly in regenerative medicine, ensuring that every treatment contributes meaningfully to the long-term health, resilience, and vitality of your skin.
Limelight IPL integrates seamlessly into this holistic regenerative pathway. Beyond addressing visible signs of ageing, such as pigmentation, redness, and sun damage, Limelight IPL also supports the deeper, natural processes that promote healthier, stronger skin over time.
When you begin your journey with us, it starts with a comprehensive skin health consultation. Dr Julia Sevi and her expert team utilise advanced diagnostics to assess your unique skin needs in detail. This enables us to tailor every aspect of your treatment plan to your individual goals and skin physiology.
At Aesthetic Health, Limelight IPL is never used as a superficial or isolated solution. It is carefully prescribed as part of a broader, medically led strategy to enhance your skin’s regenerative capacity, ensuring results that are not only immediately visible but also sustainable for the future.
The approach to skin rejuvenation is rooted in regenerative medicine, ensuring that every treatment contributes to your skin’s long-term health and vitality. Limelight IPL fits seamlessly into this holistic regenerative pathway by not only addressing visible signs of ageing, such as pigmentation and redness, but also promoting the deeper, natural processes that support healthier, more resilient skin over time.
We are really proud of our positive reviews received and we pride ourselves in giving the best customer experience which is proven by our score.
As Limelight IPL targets pigmentation and vascular concerns, it simultaneously stimulates collagen production and encourages a healthier, more resilient skin structure. This perfectly aligns with our regenerative approach at Aesthetic Health, where the focus is always on improving skin health, not just achieving aesthetic enhancement.
By integrating Limelight IPL into a comprehensive treatment plan, we aim to boost your skin’s natural ability to repair and renew itself. This ensures results that not only enhance your appearance in the short term but also help to slow the visible signs of ageing over the longer term.
The cumulative effects of Limelight IPL treatments, particularly when combined with other regenerative therapies such as microneedling or Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), work synergistically to strengthen the skin from within.
Over time, ongoing collagen and elastin production lead to progressive improvements in skin quality, firmness, and luminosity, supporting a naturally youthful complexion.
Within Aesthetic Health’s regenerative pathway, every treatment is carefully prescribed to help your skin become healthier, stronger, and more resilient to the effects of ageing, allowing you to enjoy lasting, natural beauty for many years to come.
This treatment is not offered as a one-off solution to correct a specific concern. It forms part of a regenerative skin health plan, prescribed by Dr Julia Sevi during your initial consultation to ensure optimal, long-term outcomes.
This procedure is designed to be used on any part of your face, neck and décolletage where you may suffer from skin redness or brown spots.
By customising your treatment to your skin type we can treat specific issues, by heating the pigmented brown or red cells using accurately targeted laser energy.
Patients experience a mild pinching sensation. Gel and ice are used to cool the skin before and after each laser shot to improve comfort. Treatment should take less than one hour.
One to three treatments, a month apart, should be sufficient for results to show, however certain conditions, such as rosacea, may require more.
Within three weeks, the darkened spots flake off and fade while redness and mottled complexion will be noticeably improved.
During the treatment our experienced Practitioner will customise the Limelight to your skin type and areas of concern. A pulse of light is then delivered to the area to be treated which may cause a mild pinching sensation. The heating of the pigmented skin often creates a therapeutic effect. One to three treatments are usually required for the optimum result.
Immediately after the treatment brown spots will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly red. This will only last for a few hours and make up can be applied.
Within one to three weeks the darkened spots will flake off and fade, redness will fade and your mottled complexion will improve. Maintenance is not generally required, although Rosacea may need ongoing treatment. Successfully treated brown spots, veins and redness will not return, however new ones can develop with new sun damage, so application of a broad spectrum sunscreen is recommended.
Limelight is safer and more comfortable than many pulsed light devices because the tip that produces the light is cooled for comfort.
