Muscle Balancing Injections & Hyperhidrosis

Muscle Rebalancing, Anti-Wrinkle Injections & Hyperhidrosis: A Natural, Personalised Approach

At Aesthetic Health, we take a regenerative approach to facial rejuvenation — one that respects your anatomy, protects your natural expression, and supports long-term skin integrity. Unlike conventional anti-wrinkle treatments that can compromise movement or create a uniform look, our muscle rebalancing protocols are designed to work in harmony with your unique facial dynamics.

By carefully assessing your individual muscle patterns and structural balance, we use precisely placed microdoses to soften overactive areas without weakening the surrounding support. This protects against muscle atrophy, maintains natural animation, and subtly restores balance — helping you look rested and refined, never frozen or altered.

Our treatments are not about erasing identity. They are about supporting your facial structure as it evolves, enhancing vitality while preserving the essence of who you are. Within the context of your wider regenerative pathway, muscle rebalancing helps optimise skin health, soften expression lines, and protect against deeper structural ageing — always with anatomical authenticity at the core.

In addition to facial rejuvenation, our muscle rebalancing injections can also be used to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). By gently interrupting the overactive signals between nerves and sweat glands, these treatments help restore comfort and confidence where sweating is excessive — commonly in the underarms, hands, or feet. At Aesthetic Health, we approach hyperhidrosis management with the same regenerative philosophy: precise, thoughtful treatment that improves quality of life while protecting your body’s natural function.

You’ll still look like you — just the most refreshed, confident version.

Treatment Overview

Treatment Overview

At Aesthetic Health, we view muscle rebalancing not as a standalone treatment, but as an integral part of a personalised regenerative plan tailored to your unique needs. Whilst these injections can provide temporary smoothing, we believe true rejuvenation requires a deeper approach, one that considers your muscle function, skin health, and overall tissue regeneration. That’s why we don’t offer anti-wrinkle consultations in isolation. Instead, each patient’s journey begins with Dr Julia Sevi conducting a thorough consultation and diagnostic assessment to evaluate your muscle structure, skin elasticity, and other vital factors, ensuring your treatment is perfectly aligned with your long-term goals.

By incorporating muscle rebalancing into a carefully designed regenerative treatment plan, we aim to preserve and improve muscle function whilst enhancing your skin’s natural health and vitality. Anti-wrinkle injections, when given without this comprehensive approach, often result in only a temporary semblance of improvement. Although they can reduce wrinkles and relax overactive muscles, they do not address the underlying tissue health or muscle balance. Over time, this can lead to muscle atrophy and structural imbalances, potentially accelerating the ageing process.

Our regenerative approach encourages long-term tissue health by stimulating natural collagen and elastin production, rejuvenating muscles and skin in a way that isolated anti-wrinkle injections simply cannot achieve.

This treatment is not offered as a one-off solution to correct a specific concern. Instead, it forms part of a regenerative skin health plan, prescribed by Dr Julia Sevi during your initial consultation to ensure optimal, long-term outcomes — unless indicated for a medical condition such as primary hyperhidrosis, where targeted treatment may be provided in isolation.

Note: Hyperhidrosis refers to excessive sweating, most commonly affecting the underarms, palms, or soles. Treatment with muscle rebalancing injections can significantly reduce this overactivity, improving comfort and quality of life.

FAQs

What is muscle rebalancing?

Muscle rebalancing is Aesthetic Health’s refined approach to anti-wrinkle injections, designed to soften overactive facial muscles while preserving natural expression and supporting long-term skin health. It involves precise placement of microdoses to subtly rebalance dynamic movement — without freezing or overcorrecting.

How is this different from traditional Botox treatments?

Unlike standard anti-wrinkle treatments, which often focus solely on reducing movement, our approach is anatomically led and regenerative. We assess your unique muscle activity and treat only the areas that contribute to imbalanced expression or premature ageing — ensuring you look refreshed, not altered.

Will I still be able to move my face?

Yes. Our aim is to maintain your natural facial movement and prevent the stiffness or “frozen” look often associated with overuse of toxin. We use carefully calculated microdoses to soften rather than stop movement, so you retain all of your natural expressiveness.

Is this treatment part of a wider plan?

Yes — muscle rebalancing at Aesthetic Health is never a standalone treatment. It is integrated into your personalised regenerative pathway, supporting skin integrity, slowing the formation of deeper lines, and enhancing the results of other treatments such as collagen stimulation or structural support.

What areas can be treated with muscle rebalancing?

Common areas include:

Frown lines (glabellar region)
Forehead lines
Crow’s feet
Chin dimpling
Neck bands
Brow positioning and asymmetry

All areas are treated based on your facial dynamics and needs, not a one-size-fits-all template.

Will it prevent deeper lines forming over time?

Yes — when used strategically, muscle rebalancing can help delay the formation and deepening of expression lines, by gently reducing repetitive movement while supporting underlying skin health.

How long do the results last?

Results typically last 3 to 4 months, depending on individual muscle strength, metabolism, and treatment goals. Over time, with consistent and tailored application, the muscles may rebalance more naturally, often requiring lower doses or less frequent treatment.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience slight redness or mild swelling at the injection sites, which usually subsides within minutes to a few hours. Most clients return to normal activities immediately.

Can this be combined with other treatments?

Absolutely. Muscle rebalancing works beautifully alongside other regenerative and structural treatments — such as polynucleotides, PRP, microneedling, or skin boosters — to optimise both skin quality and facial harmony.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

It’s ideal for clients who want to age confidently and naturally, soften lines, and protect long-term skin health — without losing their natural facial expressions. Whether you’re seeking prevention or gentle correction, this approach is tailored to your unique anatomy and goals.

What is hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition characterised by excessive sweating beyond what is needed for normal body temperature regulation. It most commonly affects the underarms, palms of the hands, and soles of the feet, but can occur in other areas.

How do muscle relaxing injections help with hyperhidrosis?

Muscle relaxing injections reduce excessive sweating by interrupting the communication between overactive nerves and the sweat glands. By carefully targeting the affected areas, the treatment significantly reduces perspiration while maintaining normal skin function elsewhere.

How long do the results last?

The effects typically last between 6–9 months, depending on the individual. Repeat treatments may be required to maintain results. During your consultation, one of our Aesthetic Doctors will advise you on the expected duration and the best treatment interval for your needs.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes. When carried out by an experienced medical doctor, muscle relaxing injections are considered a safe and effective treatment for hyperhidrosis. At Aesthetic Health, we use diagnostic-led precision to ensure the treatment is tailored to your anatomy and delivered with the highest standards of safety and care.

Do I need a consultation?

Yes. At Aesthetic Health, we provide a dedicated consultation specifically for hyperhidrosis. This is one of the few instances where muscle relaxing injections may be offered in isolation, without being part of a wider regenerative treatment plan. The consultation allows one of our Aesthetic Doctors to confirm the diagnosis, discuss your medical history, and determine if this treatment is suitable for you.

Can I have the consultation and treatment on the same day?

If you are new to Aesthetic Health or have not previously received treatment for hyperhidrosis, your first appointment will be a consultation only. This allows one of our Aesthetic Doctors to confirm the diagnosis, review your medical history, and design a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

For patients who have already undergone hyperhidrosis treatment with us, consultation and treatment can usually be provided on the same day, provided there are no changes in your medical history or contraindications.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience slight redness or sensitivity at the injection sites, but this usually resolves within hours. Most patients return to normal activities immediately after treatment.

When will I notice results?

Most patients begin to notice a reduction in sweating within 7–14 days, with full effects developing over 2–4 weeks.

Will I stop sweating completely?

No. The treatment works by reducing excessive sweating in the targeted area. Your body will still maintain its natural ability to regulate temperature through sweat in untreated areas.
